BET+ Originals

Background

BET+ is the streaming service of BET, announced on June 24, 2019 and launched on September 19 of that year.

Logo (September 19, 2019-)

Visuals: A pink outline of a plus sign ("+") appears on a purple-black gradient background. The plus sign zooms in and fills with pink. Then, as the plus sign covers the screen, "BET+" zooms out from all sides of the screen. As it comes together, the background shrinks into a pink square on the gradient background. Once "BET+" is formed, the square is extended as "T+" moves slightly to the right. "T+" moves up as the square becomes a rectangle. The logo slides to the left and flashes as "A" slides up at the left and "ORIGINAL SERIES" (for original series) or "ORIGINAL MOVIE" (for movies) slides up next to the logo. The background moves and brightens until stopping with the purple near the left of the screen.

Technique: 2D animation.

Audio: Three drum beats with some "ticking" and two synth notes.

Availability: The "original series" variant appears before BET+ original series such as Average Joe and College Hill: Celebrity Edition. The "original movie" variant appears before original movies such as Call Her King and The Final Say.
