Animaccord

Background

Animaccord Animation Studio is a Moscow-based Russian studio which produces animated films. It was founded in May of 2008 by Oleg Kuzovkov and Dmitry Loveyko. The studio is professionally known for the production of the animated TV minishort series, Masha & The Bear.

1st Logo (July 4, 2008, January 7, 2009-December 2, 2013)

Visuals: On a horizontal filmstrip, there is a light blue tilted filmstrip with a dark blue shadow and several white rings on it. The word "АНИМАККОРD" is written below the rings. The text "анимационная студия" is written above a light blue filmstrip.

Technique: A digital graphic.

Audio: None.

Availability: Seen on earlier episodes of Masha and the Bear and the first season of Masha's Tales (except the 26th episode which uses the 2nd logo instead). Most of the current prints of the early episodes of Masha and the Bear plaster it with the 3rd logo. It made it's early debut on their 2008 website.

Legacy: A favorite among those who grew up watching Masha and The Bear.

2nd Logo (2010)

Visuals:

Opening Variant: On a black background, there is the text:

animaccord
animation
studios

with each word and line spacing out. The text fades in and out.

Closing Variant: Same as the opening variant, but the text is replaced with a URL address.

Technique: Simple computer animation for the opening variant. A digital graphic for the closing variant.

Audio:

Opening Variant: The sound of a gong.
Closing Variant: None.

Availability: This was seen on an animation test from Animaccord.

3rd Logo (June 1, 2013-2022?)

Visuals: On a gray blurry line appearing on a black background with large particles popping in, three lines draw a square with the letter "a". The logo moves to the left as it zooms out. The background turns light blue, and the company name appears next to the logo with straight lines appearing. There is still some particles in the background. The URL address appears underneath.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: None.

Availability: Seen on most of the episodes of Masha and the Bear starting with "La Dolce Vita". Also seen on later episodes of Masha's Tales as well as Masha's Spooky Stories. It's also appeared on Universal Kids airings of the aforementioned shows.

Legacy: Like the first logo, it's a favorite among those who grew up watching Masha and The Bear.
