Background

Angkorwat Production is a Cambodian film production company established in 1980. They are among the first film production companies to emerge following the end of the Khmer Rouge's reign.

1st Logo (1988-1992)

Visuals: On a multicolored sparkling "bullseye" background, there is a model of the Angkor Wat temple. Below is the company name "ផលិតកម្ម អង្គរវត្ត" in gold. A big spark of light can be seen flickering and spinning behind the temple.

Technique: Practical effects.

Audio: A drum and a trumpet fanfare.

Availability: Seen on at least one film, which is Sak Meul Sen.

2nd Logo (1992-mid/late 1990s)

Visuals: On a blurry shining golden sunburst background, there is a model of the Angkor Wat temple. The company name "ផលិតកម្ម អង្គរវត្" in gold is below.

Variants: Two versions of this logo are known: one with the background darker and one with the background lighter.

Technique: Practical effects.

Audio: A majestic horn fanfare.

Availability: Seen on at least one film, which is Gom Hoa Nec Na.
