Background

Alltime Entertainment Ltd. was a British-based media company formed in October 1997 by Simon Vaughan. The sole intention of the company being formed was to allow Vaughan to make an animated television series based on Watership Down, after he acquired the rights to such an adaptation after BMG rejected to produce it.

The company was dissolved in July 2011.

Logo (September 28, 1999 - December 4, 2001)

Visuals: On a black background, there is a blue spark writing the scripted word Alltime as a magic dust-like effect forms together a white rectangle forms the black text "AN" and "CLASSIC", which together reads "AN Alltime CLASSIC". The blue-white-outlined text "THE ALLTIME ENTERTAINMENT COMPANY" stretches into position below and flashes out.

Variant:

  • On the Volume 3 VHS/DVD and possibly CITV airings, the logo plays as an opening logo and is a bit slower. This variant was also used on The Making of Watership Down.
  • Within the end credits of CITV airings, the logo is in-credit.
    • On later episodes, only the Alltime part is shown.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: The ending theme to the show (Stephen Gately's cover of "Bright Eyes", composed by Mike Batt) or none.

Availability: Only appears on the Watership Down TV series.

  • The in-credit version only appears on UK airings of the series, and is preserved on the Volume 3 VHS/DVD set from Right Entertainment on the three episodes.
  • Also appears on The Making of Watership Down, which appears at the end of the Buena Vista UK VHS release of Winter on Watership Down.
