Background

Akurama V is a Jakarta-based karaoke company.

1st Logo (1990's?-Mid-2000s)

Visuals: The sun rises from the ocean, further shining once it stops. Then, the text "AKURAMA V" flies from behind the sun and lands underneath it. The sun then transform into a spinning gold disc where a triangle consisting of three filmstrips slowly pop in.

Technique: 2D animation.

Audio: A techno tune with lasers in the first half.

Availability: Seen on VCDs from the era.

2nd Logo (2006?-2010s?)

Visuals: On a different ocean background (with more detail than the last), the sun is seen shining from the distance, which slowly releases the text "AKURAMA V". Not long before this sequence finishes, the logo from before, with more simplistic filmstrips, zooms out of the sun. When the logo finishes forming, the background cuts to black, the symbol continues to zoom in and the text slides to the bottom.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: An upbeat rock and horn fanfare.

Availability: Seen on VCDs such as Greatest Love Song Vol. 5, The Best Of Ria Resty Fauzy, and Takbiran bersama Ust Jefri Al Buchori & Drs H Aswan Faisal.
