Background

Acony Games GmbH & Co. KG was a German game development studio founded in 2004 by members of the Winderlich family. They are famous for their massive-multiplayer online first-person shooter game, Parabellum in 2009 (rebranded to Bullet Run in 2012). The studio was closed on February 5, 2013 after Sony Online Entertainment ended development on the game, shutting down all of its servers on March 8 of that year.

Logo (2006)

Visuals: On the black background, letters quickly zoom out one by one, causing to tremble. The letters form the word "ACONY" at the bottom, albeit crooked. The white silhouette of a bald eagle then quickly zooms out from the top of the screen and slams into the center-top, causing the letters to straighten. The logo then briefly flickers twice.

Technique: 2D animation.

Audio: A quiet reversed cymbal crash leading up to 5 loud shotgun blasts when letters zoom out, with its reloading sounds in-between. A quiet squealing sound that transitions into a quick swoosh when the eagle silhouette zooms out followed by a louder explosion. Electricity buzzes are heard with each flickers.

Availability: Only appeared in the pre-alpha gameplay trailer for Parabellum.
