Abominable Pictures is an independent production company founded by television producer Jonathan Stern in 2007.

Logo (July 30, 2007-)


Visuals: There is a snowy chain of mountains. Then, the abominable snowman runs past from right to left, revealing the words "ABOMINABLE PICTURES" in white text. A shadow appears behind the text.

Variants:

  • On the Children's Hospital episode "The Show You Watch", fitting the old-time theme of the episode, there is the company name written in cursive with a drawing of the abominable snowman and the mountains.
  • Sometimes, it shares the screen with other logos.
  • A warp-speed version exists.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: The abominable snowman growls, and wind howling. Otherwise, none.

Audio Variants:

  • On both Wet Hot American Summer series (entitled First Day of Camp and Ten Years Later respectively), the sound from the Principato-Young Entertainment logo plays over it.
  • On one episode of Murderville, the theme from the Artists First logo is heard due to an editing error.

Availability: Can be seen on all projects from the company, starting with Wainy Days, and later appeared on Childrens Hospital, Murderville, and more.
