Background

KOL was a website for kids operated by America Online, launched in 2003. In 2006, they branched out into production with the launch of the KOL Secret Slumber Party Saturday morning block on CBS, which was operated as a joint venture with DIC Entertainment. KOL dropped from the partnership the next year, leading to the block being renamed to KEWLopolis, in partnership with DIC's KEWL Magazine and American Greetings. KOL was discontinued in 2012.
