ABC Kid TV

Background

Cocomelon, previously known as checkgate, That's Me On TV and ABC Kid TV, is an educational American YouTube channel owned by Moonbug Entertainment and maintained by Treasure Studio. They are most known for their animated educational videos featuring nursery rhymes and original songs, and, as of July 2023, they are both the second-most viewed and third-most subscribed YouTube channel in the world.

1st Logo (May 1-August 4, 2014)

Visuals: On a red stage background with multicolored stars at the top, the word "ABC" in a simplistic kid's font is seen colored in green, yellow, and orange, respectively, curved up to make a semicircle shape. Below is "kid TV" in the same font in cyan and purple. "ABC" zooms up letter by letter to accompany the letter said, "kid" shakes violently and "TV" zooms up. The curtains then open up to the mascot on the stage to start the video.

Variants: On Shapes Song - 31 Kids Songs and Videos | CoComelon Nursery Rhymes & Kids Songs, there is a stage with blue curtains. The letters "A" "B" and "C" appear on the screen one by one, followed by "kid TV" coming up from the bottom. The word "ABC" is colored in red, orange, and blue, while "kid TV" is colored in green and purple. The text is also added with white outlines in it. This was followed by the same animation from the previous logo.

Technique: 2D animation.

Audio: A group of children saying the letters that come up, followed by "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" played on a xylophone.

Availability: Seen on ABC SONG | ABC Songs for Children - 13 Alphabet Songs & 26 Videos on the channel (now named Cocomelon - Nursery Rhymes).

2nd Logo (December 18, 2015-January 17, 2017)

Visuals: On a sky blue background, "A" in orange with a white outline zooms in then settles. "B" in blue zooms up too, followed by "C" pink zooms up. "kid" in green zooms up while shaking then "TV" in red flips down. The logo zooms out to reveal a red TV with a purple interior and antennas with hands holding the sides. A paint model of a ladybug travels and stops to the left of the purple antennas.

Technique: A mixture of 2D (with no outlines) and paint modeling.

Audio: Same as the last logo, followed by a honk and a squeak.
