Background

20th Century Fox Games (not to be confused with Fox Interactive) was founded in 2006 after Fox Interactive was closed down in the same year. The company was ceased operations in 2017 and was renamed to FoxNext along with Fox Digital Entertainment.

1st Logo (2006-2010)

Logo: The 20th Century Fox logo from 1994 to 2010, or its print black and white variation.

Variants:

  • On some games and for the later years, the logo is still.
  • On Nintendo DS, the logo is superimposed.
  • On GameBoy and Nintendo DS, the print version is used.
  • On X-Men: The Official Game for GBA, the print logo is negative.
  • On X-Men Origins: Wolverine, the logo is in black and white and takes place in the future.

FX/SFX: Same as the 1994 logo.

Music/Sounds: The 1997 Fox theme.

Availability: Can be seen on new 20th Century Fox games. Only three Fox games don't have this logo: 24: The Video Game, Family Guy: The Video Game and The Simpsons Game, which feature the 20th Century Fox Television logo. Some of the last games to use this logo were James Cameron's Avatar: The Game and the Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel video game.

Editor's Note: None.

2nd Logo (2010-2017)

Logo: Same as the new 20th Century Fox logo animated by Blue Sky Studios (the creator of the 2002 film Ice Age), but it's cut-short.

Variant: A still version appears on Nintendo DS games.

FX/SFX: Same as above.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: No longer current. Appears on the next-generation version of Aliens vs. Predator for PlayStation 3 and XBOX 360. There's only one Fox game that doesn't have this logo: Prison Break: The Conspiracy, which features the 20th Century Fox Television logo. First seen on the Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief video game for Nintendo DS.

Editor's Note: None.
