Background
This is Rob Travalino and Kevin Mowrer's vanity card.
(October 23, 2004-December 23, 2006)
Logo: On a black background, a magician's hat fades in. A couple of stars come out of the hat as a boy's face looking in awe flickers in. The text "THE" and "TM." appear to the top sides of the hat, with "STORY HAT" below the text.
Variants:
- Starting with the Dragon Booster episode "The Chromatic Dragon", the logo is zooming out and shakes mildly as the text lights up.
- On the defunct website of Dragon Booster, the logo is next to the Nerd Corps Entertainment and Alliance Atlantis logos.
Technique: 2D digital animation.
Audio: Four glockenspiel notes reminiscent of "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy" from The Nutcracker, followed by two gratuitously loud orchestral hits, which trails off into the 1999 Alliance Atlantis "Gold-Black A" logo on the Dragon Booster episodes "All is Not Lost" and "Misjudged".
Availability: Only seen on Dragon Booster.
Legacy: The music changing is rather abrupt and can easily catch viewers off-guard.
