Background

Thames Silents was a brand used by then-ITV contractor Thames Television to restore old silent films. The brand was discontinued after Thames lost its ITV franchise in 1992.

Logo: On a black background, we see a musical note with filmstrips running. On the left side is the word "THAMES" and on the right side is the word "SILENTS".

Variants: Sometimes, the text is in a different font.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Seen on Thames restorations of old silent films, such as Ben-Hur (1925) and The Blot (1921).
