Background

Silver Reel Partners AG (commonly known as Silver Reel) is a Swiss film financing and production company founded in 2009.

1st Logo (2010s-2016)


Logo: On a black background, "Silver Reel" fades and turns to the screen letter by letter while a red lens flare is seen moving from the left to the right. After it dies down, "INVESTING IN ENTERTAINMENT" fades in below.

FX/SFX: The lens flare moving and the letters turning.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Seen on films from this period such as Under the Skin.

2nd Logo (2016- )

Logo: A 3D red rombus diamond shape pops out on a dark grey blue background with some clouds appear on it then the 3D red shape turns us to the "Silver Reel" in the same font like the 1st logo and in 3D with the same 3D red shape moving until it stops.

Variants:

  • On some films, the logo fades out.
  • An open matte version exists.
  • An in-credit version is seen at end of films.
  • On Most Dangerous Game, TBA.

FX/SFX: 3D animation.

Music/Sounds: A celesta/violin fanfare performed with repeating high notes.

Availability: Can be seen on Unlocked, Breathe, Ride Like a Girl, among others.
