Background

Screenlife Games was a video game developer that was responsible for the popular DVD board game Scene It?, which helped bring the genre to popularity and spun off a series of editions of the game (Nick Scene It?, Disney Scene It?, Scene It? Jr., etc.). In addition, Screenlife also developed other DVD board games such as DVD Blast! and a series of game show games co-created by Endless Games. In 2008, the company was bought by Paramount Digital Entertainment and, due to DVD games becoming less popular in favor of mobile apps, was shut down in 2012.

1st Logo (2002-2005)

Logo: We start on a retro-styled film countdown that goes from 5 to 1, with the numbers done in Scene It?'s normal timer style. When it reaches 1, the text "Screenlife" fades in, starting from the middle and working its way to the left and right sides of the text. "PRESENTS" in white appears below, and the text moves away to the right to make way for the opening menu sequence of the Scene It? game.

FX/SFX: The countdown, the numbers, the text moving.

Music/Sounds: Film projector sounds and beeping.

Availability: Seen on most first-edition Scene It? games from the period, starting with the original.

2nd Logo (2005-2011)

Logo: TBA

FX/SFX: TBA

Music/Sounds: TBA

Availability: Seen on most Screenlife games from the period, such as Scene It? games, which were sometimes handed out in Wendy's Kids Meals and General Mills boxes, DVD Blast!, and The Price is Right: DVD Edition.

Legacy: This logo has absolutely amazing CGI for the time period, which still holds up very well today.

3rd Logo (2007-2011)

Logo: On a black background, a rounded square with a film countdown in it is seen. The picture goes black as the square fills with blue and we see that it's the "screen" square from the previous logo. As "screen" glows out of it, the square tilts to its normal position as a gray filmstrip flies in and spins underneath the logo, revealing the text "GAMES" in it. The logo shines and glows against a blue aurora background, and stays there for a few seconds before the filmstrip flies at the screen.

FX/SFX: The animations in the square, the square rotating, the filmstrip appearing, the background animating.

Music/Sounds: Film countdown sounds, ending in a chime theme.

Availability: Seen mostly on Scene It? games for the Wii and Xbox 360.

Legacy: Less impressive than the previous logo, but still a solid logo with good CGI.

4th Logo (2011-2012)

Logo: TBA

FX/SFX: TBA

Music/Sounds: TBA

Availability: Seen on Scene It?: Disney Magical Moments.
