Background

Peach Arch Entertainment is a North American film and TV company which was formed in 1999 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

1st Logo (1999-2000)

Nickname: "The Arch"

Logo: On a black background, we see a arch zooms out to reveal the company name, then suddenly a blue spark moves across from the left side of the screen.

Trivia: The logo is based on the Peace Arch that sits on the United States and Canadian borders.

FX/SFX: The zoom-out, the blue spark.

Music/Sounds: The closing theme of the show.

Availability: Rare.

2nd Logo (2000-)

Nickname: "The Arch II"

Logo: On a black background, we see a red spark move across from the right side of the screen in an arch. At the same time, a light illuminates, revealing a rotating arch, and the words "PEACE ARCH" below it. Before the arch finishes rotating into position, the red spark comes back around and draws a red arch that connects the first and second "A" together.

Trivia: The logo is based on the Peace Arch that sits on the United States and Canadian borders.

Variant: A full screen version exists.

FX/SFX: The red spark, rotating of the arch.

Music/Sounds: None or the closing theme of the show.

Availability: Seen on films like American Soldiers, The Good Shepherd, and Chapter 27, among others. Also seen on the North American release of JCVD. This logo was used as a de-facto home video logo.
