Visuals: The white words "MUTUAL FILM COMPANY", with "MUTUAL FILM" in a arc formation, zoom out from the right side of the screen on a black background. A blue box with a golden outline fades in and zooms toward the text. They both come together in the middle of the screen, with the text leaving shadows. The logo stops zooming out and shines while a sun blink-like light appears and shines on the logo.
Variants:
- Minor changes of letter view and arrangement were made through the years.
- A shorter version exists; it starts with the already-formed logo before it stops zooming out.
Technique: CGI.
Audio: None, or the opening/closing theme to the movie.
Availability: Seen on The Jackal, Primary Colors, Virus, and the Lara Croft trilogy, including both the opening and the closing credits. The shorter version is seen at the end of some films such as Paulie (1998).
