Background

Liberty Mutual is an American insurance company founded in July 1, 1912. The company provides a comprehensive range of insurance services and products, including personal auto, homeowners, workers' compensation, commercial multiple-peril, commercial auto, general liability, global specialty, group disability, fire insurance, and surety. They are headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts.

1st Logo (2018-2023)

Visuals: There is a white background. The background zooms out to reveal an abstract Statue Of Liberty on a yellow background. Next to it, the text "Liberty Mutual INSURANCE" sweeps in. A URL and phone number swoop in.

Variants:

For Liberty Seguros, the Liberty Seguros wordmark replaces the Liberty Mutual wordmark. Also, "Juntos en los momentos importantes" swoops in instead of the url and phone number, and "Auto | Home" is removed.
Sometimes, a policy with a copyright notice appears under the URL and phone number.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: A chorus singing "Liberty" four times.

Audio Variants:

Sometimes after the logo, a short snippet plays showing how the ad ends. On one of these Snippets, someone says "de" three times following the logo's jingle.
On the Liberty Seguros version, Spanish people sing the jingle, then a Spanish announcer says "Liberty Seguros. Juntos en los momentos importantes.".
On the Minions variant (to promote Minions: The Rise of Gru), the Minions sing the jingle, and after that, the male voiceover says "Minions: The Rise of Gru. Only in theaters!".
On a COVID-19 commercial, a piano version of the jingle is playing.

Availability: Seen on almost all of their ads from 2018 to 2023.

2nd Logo (2023-)

Visuals: On a yellow background, there is a blue circle form, and the same abstract Statue Of Liberty from last time (albeit with an animated flaming torch) pops up from inside it. Then, as it slides to the left of the screen, the text "Liberty" slides out from behind the Statue Of Liberty graphic to the right of it. A fine print disclaimer can be seen on most commercials with this end tag.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: Same as the 1st logo.

Audio Variants: On the LiMu Emu and Doug "Like Father, Like Son" commercial, a little kid (Doug Jr.) sings the jingle.

On the "First Word" commercial, a baby (Ty) sings the last Liberty.

Availability: Seen on their more recent ads from 2023 onwards.
