Named after the Nova Scotian city of the same name, '''Halifax Film''' was a company that was founded in 2004. In 2006, Halifax Film merged with [[Decode Entertainment (Canada)|Decode Entertainment]] to form [[WildBrain (Canada)|DHX Media]]. Background
