'''Variants:'''

*On ''Mirror's Edge'', the logo is {{color|red}}, and is on a white background, like the Electronic Arts logo preceding it.
** Its sequel, ''Mirror's Edge Catalyst'', features the logo in the same color scheme, and has it be revealed from the Eletronic Arts variation. A copyright notice is seen below, and as with the EA logo, it gets wiped away to reveal the [[Frostbite Engine]] logo.
*On ''Battlefield: Bad Company'', the logo is seen among various {{color|gold|golden}} ingots, one of which bears the logo. It then fades to the logo (although a bit grungy). The logo dissolves to the left afterwards.
*On ''Battlefield 1943'', the logo is on a white background. It is black again, and has an old film effect.
* On ''Battlefield: Bad Company II'', the logo is once again black on a white background and is formed from various merging squares. Then, like the previous installment, it dissolves to the left.
* On ''Battlefield 4'', the logo has a slight orange color on a dark background, and gets flashed away after a few seconds to reveal the EA variation.
* On ''Battlefield Hardline'', the logo appears in grainy white on a orange-blue changing background. It briefly turns into a {{color|red}} 0:03 before flashing away.
* On ''Star Wars Battlefront'', the logo is golden and has a shiny texture on it. This is on a black background.
* On ''Star Wars Battlefront II'', glowing white lines draw the logo on a black background. It glitches out after a few seconds, and there is a copyright notice below the logo.
* On ''Battlefield V'', the logo is behind a wall of cracked glass, making it look distorted. It also blurs in and out.
* On the reveal trailer for ''Battlefield 2042'', we see some close-ups of the logo on a dark cyan background. The logo is then shown in its entirety, colored in cyan and glitching. It fades out a moment after that.

Background

Digital Illusions Creative Entertainment (DICE) is a Swedish video game developer formed in 1992 (there was also a Canadian unit). In 2004, Electronic Arts struggled to purchase the company, only succeeding in October 2006, thus making the company a wholly-owned subsidiary of EA. The Canadian headquarters was shut down immediately after the EA acquisition, but in May 2013 the company opened a Los Angeles unit.

1st Logo (October 24, 2000-October 24, 2003)

Logo: A white dot appears in the center of the screen. The background changes from black to red and the dot releases 5 white concentric circles. The circles and dot rotate as the first circle around the dot morphs into a stylized "DI". The design turns solid as the background rotates to reveal that the circles are now in a rectangle against a white or black background, with the stylized text "diCe" at the bottom of it, while the circles morph into an abstract spiral design.

Technique: Solid 2D animation.

Music/Sounds: Starts with a low synth hum that segues into a Thievery Corporation-esque down-tempo theme.

Availability: Seen on most games by the company, such as the Xbox version of RalliSport Challenge, JumpStart Wildlife Safari: Field Trip, Shrek, Swedish Touring Car Championship 2, Shrek Extra Large, V8 Challenge, Riding Champion: Legacy of Rosemond Hill and Pryzm: Chapter One: The Dark Unicorn.

2nd Logo (September 10, 2002-September 5, 2003)

Logo: In the darkness, glowing pink parts of the logo fly in from nowhere and take their places. Then the logo glows and slowly zooms out.

Technique: The flying parts and glowing.

Music/Sounds: An electrical sound.

Availability: Seen on Battlefield 1942.

3rd Logo (November 6, 2002-May 9, 2003)

Logo: On a gradient gray background, some gray patterns are seen falling from the sky, and the camera quickly moves to a normal view, showing the DICE rectangle logo with parts of it falling into their positions. The rectangle seems a bit skewed.

Technique: Animation of the logo.

Music/Sounds: A single windy sound.

Availability: Seen on RalliSport Challenge for PC and Land Before Time: Big Water Adventure.

4th Logo (March 14, 2004-November 20, 2006)

Logo: Two bright blue-toned splashes appear sidescreen, meet and create a glowing DICE logo in the center. A kind of interlacing can be seen. The logo continues to flash and flicker for two seconds until it renders stable. Then it collapses into a red line (not unlike in old TVs) and clears out.

Variant: TBA

Technique: TBA

Music/Sounds: A windy synth entry and the sound a keypunch.

Availability: Seen on Battlefield Vietnam, Battlefield 2 and all their expansions made until 2006.

5th Logo (June 23, 2008-)

Logo: On a black background, a square with a cross inside (it is exactly what to be if all of the letters of the word "DICE" are placed together) spins onto the screen. The square "splits" up, revealing an angular and stylized "DICE". Then the "E" moves 90 degrees and slides to the left, wiping the logo.

Technique: Depends on the variant.

Music/Sounds: Depends on the variant.

Availability: First seen on Mirror's Edge, and has since appeared on other games from DICE.
