Background

Crackerjack Productions (aka Crackerjack) was created in mid-2002. In 2006, Crackerjack Productions merged with Grundy Television to form FremantleMedia Australia (now Fremantle Australia), but the name continued to operate until 2009.

Logo (2002-2009)

Visuals: On an orange, red, and purple aurora background, a tall capital "C" with a half flash-like shape on the tips in an oval border and "crackerjack" (with the "j" without a dot), both in white, are seen being formed. The "C" object shines brightly and extrudes out a trail in front of it that retracts back into the logo after a second, while the "crackerjack" text appears as glass letters that shine before they flash, turning white. The yellow parts of the aurora starts to clear up in the middle, making the logo more readable, while a byline appears below as the aurora continues to move about.

Bylines:

Technique: The flashing and the aurora background moving. [possible misuse]

Audio: A soft whoosh, followed by an ascending 7-note synth tune.

Availability: Seen on Newstopia, the Australian version of The Biggest Loser, So Fresh TV, Quizmania, Australia's Got Talent, and the Australian version of As The Bell Rings, among others.
