Background

Cinedigm Entertainment is an entertainment company that distributes films, and also provides cinema technologies under the Cinedigm Digital Cinema banner.

1st Logo (January 23, 2010)

Logo: On a black background, we see two blue searchlights. They then criss-cross as their light gets bigger and their colors change repeatedly. The word "Cinedigm" appears below, and the intense light eventually dies down as the searchlights return to their normal position.

Technique: CGI.

Music/Sounds: The opening theme of the movie.

Availability: Seen only on the American release of Yu-Gi-Oh! 3D: Bonds Beyond Time.

2nd Logo (2011-April 19, 2012)

Logo: On a transparent blue background with a bright line on top and a light in the top-left, the transparent word "Cinedigm" zooms in with a searchlight over each of the i's. The road under the text disappears as it stops and the searchlights criss-cross.

Technique: CGI.

Music/Sounds: A whoosh sound.

Availability: [Examples?]

3rd Logo (2012-)

Logo: On a black background, we see several teal, neon green and purple dots arranged in curvy lines spinning around. They then spin faster as they turn black and white, before settling and forming a stylized "C". Then, the dots spin and turn back to their former colors before spinning around and forming a smaller "C". "CINEDIGM" appears next to the "C".

Variants:

  • An abridged variant exists, where the dots quickly form the "C" without the prior formations and are always white.
  • A still version is used at the beginning of the Inspector Gadget DVD Megaset.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Music/Sounds: A string piece with several clicking sounds near the end, resembling a film projector. On thratrical releases, after the logo is formed, a sonic boom is heard. Sometimes, it's silent.

Availability: Can be found in some cinemas (short version only) and on DVD releases from the company.
