Background

Catalyst Distribution Inc. was a Canadian production company that specialized in made-for-television films, miniseries, and shows.

Nicknames: "The Parallelogram", "The Flashing Parallelogram", "Catalyst Parallelogram"

Logo: On a black background, a white parallelogram is seen on a royal blue square. Then, "CATALYST" flashes in below as does the parallelogram with the text revealing to be in the same color as the square when the flashing ceases.

Variants:

  • An in-credit version appeared on The Longhouse Tales.
  • On Eckhart, copyright fades in below.

FX/SFX: The name appearing and flashing.

Music/Sounds: The ending theme.

Availability: Rare. It was seen on the television films: Shadow Zone: My Teacher Ate My Homework, Universal Soldier II: Brothers in Arms, Universal Soldier III: Unfinished Business, What Katy Did, Virtual Mom, the miniseries I Was a Rat, and the shows Eckhart, The Longhouse Tales, and Entrada: Journeys in Latin American Cuisine.
