Background

Balboa Productions is a film and television production company owned by Sylvester Stallone that was founded on May 30, 2018. The company is named after Stallone's character, Rocky Balboa from the Rocky franchise.

1st Logo (May 30, 2019)

Nicknames: "The Balboa Sky", "Balboa Hero"

Logo: Against a tan sky background, after the Millennium Media logo appears, it cuts to "BALBOA PRODUCTIONS" slowly zooming in towards the screen.

FX/SFX: The sky background animation and the text zooming in.

Music/Sounds: The opening theme of the trailer.

Availability: Only seen on the Rambo: Last Blood trailer.

2nd Logo (September 20, 2019-)

Nickname: "Rocky's Fedora"

Logo: On a white background, we see the following appear in order while simultaneously zooming in together: the company name from before, a black fedora, and a black rectangle outline.

Trivia: This logo is based on the Rocky franchise. The fedora is the one Rocky Balboa wears throughout the movies and the overall design of the logo resembles the Rocky (1976) poster.

FX/SFX: Simply the text and the fedora appearing and slowly zooming in. Done by Filmograph.

Music/Sounds: Either the opening/ending theme of the TV show or movie, or silence.

Availability: Current. It debuted on Rambo: Last Blood and can be seen on One Night: Joshua vs. Ruiz alongside the company's future projects. Don't expect to see this on Samaritan.
