Annapurna Pictures is an American independent production company founded by software heiress Megan Ellison (her father is Oracle founder Larry Ellison. Her brother David is also a producer, and the founder of Skydance Media). The name comes from a mountain trail in Nepal, which in turn was taken from the Hindu goddess of nourishment. In 2017, it began distributing its own films, starting with Detroit, released on August 4 that year.

Logo: On a black background, we see a painted circle with a letter "A" that's connected with the letter "P", and beneath that is "ANNAPURNA PICTURES".
Technique: None.
Music/Sounds: None.
Availability: This was a placeholder logo that was only used on Catch .44.

Logo: On a static-filled black screen, a large white "A" is slowly wiped in from top to bottom (similar to the 1985-2006 Walt Disney Pictures logo), while surrounded by a bright glow that renders the "A" barely visible. The company name is then wiped in below, with the former stacked on top of the latter, and the glow dissipates, leaving the finished logo. The screen then gets static-filled again and the logo disintegrates top-to-bottom.
Closing Variant: We see the print logo on a black background. It resembles the opening variant, without any of the VHS effects.
Technique: 2D animation with static effects.
Music/Sounds: Usually none, or the opening theme. On some films, a deep, creepy note with tremolo is heard.
Availability: Seen on many of the films that the company has produced or distributed from 2012 onwards starting with Lawless.
3rd Logo (American Hustle custom variant) (December 13, 2013)

Logo: On a brown background, segments of the "A" appear one by one, while another pair brightens up. The "A" zooms out to make room for the company name, which fades in. After that, it zooms in with a trail effect.
Technique: Good animation.
Music/Sounds: The opening theme of the movie.
Availability: Only seen on American Hustle.
