Logo (October 6, 1978-1979)

Visuals: On a black background, there is a large, looping gold vertical roll of film on the left, alongside other floating stretched shapes in the background. Stretching into view is "VTN", which warps away to make room for the entrance of "Video Tape" and "Network" from the top left and bottom left sections respectively in a vertical stretching sequence. When the two text rest, they are close to each other albeit vertically unaligned with the latter in a taller scale and shifted down. Then, the text warp away from the screen with "Video Tape" flying to the right and "Network" stretching and fading away. "Presents" flies in from the right and rests near the center of the screen before slightly compressing itself.

Technique: Scanimate.

Audio: The beginning of "Two-Part Invention in B-flat Major" from the album Switched-On Bach by Wendy Carlos.

Availability: Seen on The Madhouse Brigade.
