Background

Treco was a defunct subsidiary of the Sammy Corporation that was used to publish Sega titles, while the Sammy brand name was used on Nintendo consoles. It went defunct in 1992, and it was folded into Sammy, with Viewpoint being the only game on the Genesis platform to carry the Sammy branding.

1st Logo (December 14, 1990)

Visuals: Over the game's title screen, there is a aqua wave, with the text "TRECO" on the right.

Audio: The opening theme of the game.

Availability: Only seen on the Japanese Mega Drive game of Atomic Robo-Kid.

2nd Logo (October 1990-Feburary 22, 1991)

Visuals: Over the game's title screen, we see the text "TRECO" in a bubbly font, with white lines shown over the logo.

Variant: On the Japanese Mega Drive game of Twin Cobra, the logo appears without the lines.

Technique: None. [possible misuse]

Audio: The opening theme of the game.

Availability: Seen on the American Mega Drive game of Atomic Robo-Kid and the Japanese Mega Drive game of Twin Cobra.

3rd Logo (December 6, 1991-1992)

Visuals: On a black background, there is a white box with the text "TRECO" in it, and there was a red triangle on the letter "R".

Variant: On Fighting Masters, the logo was seen within the game's title screen.

Technique: None. [possible misuse]

Audio: None.

Availability: Seen on the Genesis games of Fighting Masters, Warsong and Task Force Harrier EX.
