TVU

Background

TVU (or Television Universidad de Concepción) is a Chilean regional channel, from the eight region of Bio Bio. It is currently owned by Universidad de Concepcion (or more specifically Octava Comunicaciones S.A.)

1st (known) Logo (2001-2006)

Visuals: On a white background is the TVU logo on a inclined view, but then it moves to the center of the screen, and below appear the name.

Technique: 3D animation.

2nd Logo (2011)

Visuals: There are several cartoon-stylised buildings on a bright sky background. The screen slighty moves to the left, with a sun rising and moving in the sky until it goes off-screen. Some silhouettes of people appear below. The screen moves again, and the sky darkens and some stars appears, then a blue circle rises and places above the buildings. The words "tvu" fades in the circle ("tv" in blue, appear out of the circle and is connected to the white letter "u"). Finnally, a light outline fades in the logo and "Universidad de Concepcion", in blue and with a light glow appear.

Audio: A guitar ambiental theme.

3rd ID (2016-)

Visuals: In a white background, there is a gray, geometrical-like city below, with some objects like clouds or cars moving. A line is drawn trought the screen, and the channel logo (An object similar to a circle, which appear in different colors) appear forming above, in a bulge-like animation and releasing some particles, and the text "LA COMUNIDAD DEL CONTENIDO" fading below. The logo continues for a few seconds.

Variant:

In Christmas, the logo appear as usual, but the background is colored (Ex: Teal) and some figures like reindeers appear, looking like a wallpaper. Eventually, there is a silhouette of Santa and his sleigh flying over the buildings, as leaving some particles. The TVU logo fades above, while the words "Por una Navidad con contenido" are written below.
