Background

This was the host broadcaster for the Olympic Games Sydney 2000 which was set up by the Sydney Organizing Committee for the Olympic Games (SOCOG) and Channel Seven.

Logo (September 15-October 1, 2000)

Visuals: There is a fire which later fades to a group of Australian Aboriginals. Later, the sun rises and a man running with kangaroos hopping in the background is shown. Then, there is a group of people rowing and later, a man doing the vault on a rock, two people fencing, an athlete riding a horse jumping, a man aiming his bow, a man throwing a discus, some people swimming, and a woman diving. Finally, it cuts to some people cycling atop Sydney Harbour Bridge while woman stands atop the Opera House. She spins her ribbon to reveal the Olympic Rings while the SOBO logo appears in an ocean-like background.

Technique: A mix of live-action footage and CGI.

Audio: A mix of orchestrated music with some beats and didgeridoo sounds.
