Background
Japan Satellite Television was a British television channel broadcasting Japanese programming serving viewers in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa. It was launched in early 1990 by Marubeni-Iida in association with the Mitsukoshi department store chain. On May 16, 2023, NHK Cosmomedia Europe has announced that it plans to shut down the JSTV service at the end of October 2023. From September, as part of a transitional measure, JSTV1 will relay NHK World Premium on an eight-hour delay and JSTV2, the same but live until the closure of the channels. Following the closure, NHK World Premium will replace JSTV.

Visuals: On an animated foggy white background, the first three letters of the channel's initials in green, red and blue respectively fly across the screen, with the channel's name in gray orbiting. Five pairs of red circles from big to small in an arc path begin to slide in, before all of the segments merge altogether with the "v" being formed by a green line shape. The channel's name in gray slides below it.

Audio: A soft traditional synth tune.

Visuals: Over a white-gradient background, the logo starts with various curvy gray lines with one in orange. Some of them reveal various shots of Japan, and after that, they merge into one line, forming the channel's initals in orange. "1" or "2" may fade next to it, and Japanese text fades below.
