Background

HUMAN (earlier Humanistische Omroep and HOS) is a special broadcaster on the Netherlands Public Broadcasting system, which is allowed to broadcast on radio and television because of their spiritual background.



1st ID (Mid 1990s?-1999)

Visuals: A black and white footage of a person's lip which appears to be speaking is shown, with rippling effects over it. It is overlaid by red-cyan or magenta-yellow cut rings which appear zooming in and appear abruptly on random places. Whilst this happens, the separated words "humanisTIsCHE OMROEP" slide in from both sides, and both stand still.

Technique: Computer animation.

Audio: A somewhat wobbly string note, repeated twice, with ambient sounds and sounds of the person speaking quietly. It segues to a orchestral choir sung by persons.

2nd ID (2013-2018)

Visuals: The word "HVMAN" is shown under various actions, mostly shown on a black background.

Technique: Computer animation.

Audio: It may vary depending on each ident.

3rd ID (2018-)

Visuals: On a white background, an overload of multicolored bars wipe in, then split up into ten thin bars. The word "HVMAN" wipes in, and two triangle cutouts on the bars appear between the "V" and "A".

Technique: Computer animation.

Audio: A stylized beat with a woman saying "human".
