Background

GTRK Vologda is the state television broadcaster of Vologda Oblast, owned and operated by Channel 1 Russia.

ID (1994-1996)

Visuals: A rotating blue globe with low-opacity white clouds in its atmosphere zooms out from the bottom-right corner of the screen and places itself in the center. Then, the text:

*ВОЛОГОДСКОЕ* ТЕЛЕВИДЕНИЕ

arranged in a circular position and spinning counter-clockwise zooms out and places itself in the center, enclosing the circle. The text continues to spin as nine silver lines zoom out and fit themselves over the globe individually, from top to bottom. Each line is thicker on the left side with a short negative slope in the center and has cut edges which make a circular shape once arranged. Once all the lines are placed, white blocky letters reading "ВТ" zoom out and place themselves over the lines, leaving behind a blue light trail which eventually dims down. The globe zooms out from view and the same blocky "ВТ" in blue zooms out and places itself over the white letters. The text outside the circle stops spinning, then the logo tilts upwards and slightly turns to the right. After that, the background fades to a partly cloudy sky with a translucent Russian flag waving behind the company logo.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: An ascending four-note synth fanfare followed by a patriotic-sounding synth fanfare which is conclusively accompanied by the sound of blowing wind.
