Logo (July 19-August 4, 1996)

Visuals: There is a ribbon that is in the shape of a satellite dish on a gold and blue background with footage. The dish opens up and the scenery changes to a man running on a background with footage and an ancient Greek structure. Then three rings are shown as the background changes multiple times as the camera moves. Then, there is the dish again as it moves as more footage covers the Greek structure and the backgrounds. Then the camera moves up to the structure revealing four flames. As the flame transitions into the skyline of the host city on a sunny day, the Atlanta 1996 symbol forms. A woman jumps to reveal the AOB logo.

Variants:

  • On Rede Manchete's broadcast of the Games, Manchete's logo replaces the AOB logo.
  • On SBT's broadcasts of the Games, SBT's logo replaces the bottom half of the AOB logo.

Technique: A mix of CGI and live-action footage.
