Background
Astro TVIQ was an English-language channel with its programmes based on education, exploration, arts, handcraft, science, learning, English, motivation, and math. The channel was aimed for children between the age of 4 and 15, and was launched on February 1, 2002. The channel was available in the English, Malay and Chinese audio languages, and was available on Astro channel 610.
On February 1, 2022, exactly 20 years after its launch, the channel ceased transmission, with its programming dispersed to Astro Ceria and TA-DAA!.

Visuals: On a white background, multiple gray circles form counterclockwise, with most of them zooming in and settling. Two blue squares flip in, along with a hot pink one on top of the first one, and a lime one on top of the second one. As Astro's website URL in pink fades in below the two blue blocks, the letters "T" and "V" in white pop in and settle over the hot pink and lime squares respectively. The letters "IQ" in a paint-like font write in over the blue section of the giant square.
Technique: 2D computer animation.
Audio: Multiple wooshing sounds as the circles form, followed by three electronic notes and a woosh as the letters appear.

Visuals: There is an animated activity book in action teaching us about activities or facts about social life. The idents end with two rectangles coming together to form a single rectangle with two interior curves, with the top one being forest green, and the bottom one being mint. The "astro" wordmark fades in over the top part of the rectangle, and the text "TVIQ" fades in over the bottom part of the rectangle. Two variants are known to have been produced:
- The logo zooms out from a piece of paper with multiple black streaks appearing on it. The piece of paper is inside a sky blue square on a green background. A hot pink shape pops out of the top left of the rectangle, and a circled "A" appears on top of the former, the text "FIG A." over a white oblong appears under the left of the rectangle, and the text "Fold the piece of paper in half and fold the top corners in." appears under it. The top corners of the piece of paper fold as hot pink arrows appear around it. The screen then pans to the left to see another image at Fig. B, telling us this: "Fold the corners of the folds in and then fold the corners again.". The piece of paper proceeds to follow the instructions below as arrows appear to indicate the way again. The screen then pans to the bottom left to see yet another image at Fig. C, where the instruction below is partially blocked by another book. The piece of paper rotates 180 degrees and folds into a paper airplane. The logo zooms into the image, where we see the paper airplane flying around Southeast Asia in a map with some colored paper sheets. The paper airplane then flies away to the bottom of the screen as the Astro TVIQ logo forms.
- The screen passes by a paper airplane against a lime background with green dots to an image of a turning wind turbine in a sky blue rectangle on a green-colored page. There is the inside of the turbine as multiple numbered circles pop up and use lines to indicate the method on how the wind turbine works. The circles disappear, multiple more wind turbines appear in the background as the screen zooms from them, a hot pink arrow pops up near the bottom left of the rectangle and points towards the back of a television inside a lime circle. Another arrow pops up from the circle and points towards two high-voltage poles in another circle. Yet another arrow pops up from the second circle and points towards a model of a white house. The logo zooms into the image as an outline circle transitions to a scene where we see water boiling in a green pot on a stove. The logo zooms out from the image. The screen then pans to an animated diagram on how water evaporates, as text reading "Energy in the form of electricity is converted by the various appliences into useful energies such as heat or light. Here we see electricity converted into heat for cooking." appears below. The water in the diagram evaporates, as four white arrows rise and grow out of it to the point where it's outside the page as the Astro TVIQ logo forms.
Technique: CGI produced by Sizzle Video, an Australian motion graphics and media production company.
Audio: There are a few drum notes, followed by an eight-note electronic tune played twice, accompanied by other electronic and drum noises. We then hear a twelve-note electronic tune, followed by a fast rendition of Astro's five-note jingle from the time played with an electric guitar.

Visuals: Against a background of green abstract shapes, the Astro logo zooms towards the camera in an unknown technique. The logo transitions to the following scenes that take place in the background that are put in an unknown order:
- A boy in an orange shirt with his book looks at the book of a girl in a sky blue shirt. Some letters and numbers can be seen flying in the background.
- A boy in a white shirt with a book is talking to a woman. An illustration of the Solar System can be seen flying in the background.
- A woman in an orange shirt is writing on her book while a man in a sky blue shirt is using his laptop. A model of a molecule can be seen flying in the background.
- A family consisting of four members (a man with his wife, and their daughter and son) are smiling towards the camera. A drawing of some kids jumping can be seen flying in the background.
- A man holding papers is talking to a woman, who is using her smartphone. An illustration of a group of buildings can be seen in the background.
As the shapes enclose the footage, the Astro TVIQ logo rotates and zooms from us as it forms in a currently unknown fashion.
Technique: A combination of live action and CGI.
Audio: Presumably a rendition of Astro's eight-note jingle from the time.
Availability: The only footage available for this ident is on the Astro Entertainment Network channel rebanding featurette.

Visuals: A box resembling the Astro TVIQ logo falls on a surface in a cream gradient background. The box opens up to reveal some toys flying out of it. A wooden contraption is bulit, as a car slides down a ramp and collides with a button, causing a test tube to tilt down and pour out its metal balls into a beaker on a balance scale, causing it to weigh the pan of the scale down, indicating that the beaker is now heavier than the other. The empty beaker rises towards the top and knocks over a wooden piece, causing an "A" to fall backward and knock over a "B". The group of colored letters in the ident are revealed to act as dominoes, as we pan to see more of the letters topple over. The screen then zooms away from the contraption as the box encloses it. The box bounces to show us the Astro TVIQ logo again, which shines.
Variant: On May 25, 2021, the logo was remastered in the 16:9 aspect ratio, with the textures of the objects slightly enhanced.
Technique: CGI.
Audio: There are a boing and a shining sting, followed by a car horn. We then hear a happy-themed synth tune accompanied by the corresponding sound effects in the ident. There is another wooshing sound as the screen zooms out to see the Astro TVIQ logo again.
