Universal Domestic Television was formed on May 28, 2002 after Vivendi Universal bought out the assets of Studios USA Television and merged the assets with the former Universal Worldwide Television to form the domestic distribution division of the company. It was absorbed into NBC Universal Television Distribution in 2004.
Logo: It's the same as the network counterpart, except the text below reads "UNIVERSAL DOMESTIC TELEVISION" with the URL below the logo intact.
Variant: Sometimes, the text "in association with" appear above the logo.
Technique: Same as its network counterpart.
Music/Sounds: Same as the 1997 Universal Television logo.
Music/Sounds Variants:
Availability: Rare. It was seen on 2002-04 episodes of Blind Date, Maury and The Jerry Springer Show, as well as the final seasons of The 5th Wheel and The Sally Jessy Raphael Show. It is retained on every season 1 episode, early season 2 episodes, and some late season 4 episodes of New York Undercover last seen on Centric (now BET Her).
