First discussion

Hello there! I'm a new person that just provided some new info regarding some grammar edits, exact dates for when the Cavalcade and Science trailers debuted, and some other stuff. Solarstrike (talk) 20:37, 7 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Is there proof that the THX Genesis trailer is shown at Regency Theaters and Westwood Fox Theater?

I've seen this on the THX page and I'm unsure if the state is true? Is there proof? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Josh0108 (talkcontribs)

There is proof of the Ultimate Cinema existing, but I'm not sure about Regency Theaters or Westwood Fox Ifyoudarethenpizzait (talk)

A new THX Spatial Audio trailer just came out a few days ago. Should it be on the THX page?

3rd Trailer Original Version Video Found?

Yep, that's right. I think I found the video for the original version of the 3rd trailer. It has an older Dolby logo at the end of the video, but I'm currently unsure if it is real or not. BaldiBasicsFan (talk) 15:32, 3 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Have you got a link? Hb1290 (talk) 01:15, 4 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
Sounds like a reconstruction to me. Solarstrike (talk) 01:30, 4 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Compromise for the trailer dispute

Hi! I was wondering if we could compromise I could revert the edit back to the previous one, but remove the edits for Trailer #9, as that seems to be the source of the dispute. TangoWhiskeyDelta (talk)

  • My problem is that the information for trailer #9 you keep on covering it up every time you edit, and it is considered vandalism. Your not a bad editor, don't worry, but sometimes your edit could get reverted because of vandalism. If you didn't cover up the information for that trailer, this page would not have a problem at all, even doing the same thing with the image for trailer #10. • @BaldiBasicsFan Why have you turned the Cavalcade description into a description for the Shrek trailer? Hb1290 (talk) 05:22, 6 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
    • I am slightly confused by what you mean, as I don't know of any edits that were done on Trailer 9, though, if I remember correctly, a video was added on Trailer 8. Trailer 9 does seem like it has the wrong videos, but I'm not sure. TangoWhiskeyDelta (talk)
      • Looks to have been fixed. But either way, when I looked again, that appeared to have been caused by MysteriousSoundSystem’s edit. My apologies to BBF. Hb1290 (talk) 06:22, 6 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
        • Would it be OK though for me to add the videos and other information in other than that, however? I presume that the Shrek thing might've been a mistake, though I'll have to go through the edit logs again to check.

The picture of the Monster Cable has no text

The text "The Monster Cable" should be below the picture. Dexter's Mom (talk) 11:55, 6 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

Investigating the Broadway premiere date

Official sources say the Broadway trailer premiered in the fall of 1983. Other sources, including From Script to DVD, claim it premiered before Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. Given how that specific site has not cited any THX-certified screenings in Los Angeles between the end of ROTJ's Avco Center run and TOD's premiere, I'm more inclined, personally, to believe the latter school of thought, though I am open to looking into whether any of the other first THX theatres did certified screenings in between, so as to be more sure.
