Background

TV! was founded on May 10, 1999, after the closure of Rede Manchete. It worked as in-between transition of Manchete and RedeTV!, with the same programming.

ID (May-November 1999)

Visuals: Over a black background, the camera zooms into a blue oval sphere with white borders. Two of them go up and down (respectively) to reveal the words "TV!" in red, which pop up and pop back into the sphere (the exclamation point "!" pops twice).

Technique: CGI.

Audio:

  • A six-note bell chime tune with a peaceful ending. This music is actually "Maiden Flight" off from the Network Music "Brainstorm 5 - Audio Logos" CD, also used on the 1993 KTEH logo.
  • Another theme was also used. It started with a robotic sounding whoosh at the beginning, followed by an orchestral note with various pounding drums.
