1st Logo (October 16, 1970)

Visuals: In a dark setting, we see four flares from two candles with a what appears to be a red arch and a black square. A light illuminates from above to reveal an icon of Venkateswara, a form of the Hindu god Vishnu, with flowers below the icon. The wall brightens up and reveals that it is colored blue. The logo stays still for 28 seconds before fading out. The company name doesn't appear.

Technique: Live-action.

Audio: A male and female chorus singing the first 2 lines of the Suprabhatam, accompanied by a sitar tune.

Availability: Only seen on Mastana.

2nd Logo (January 7, 1972-1985)

Visuals: Similar to the previous logo, except the icon is replaced by a statue of Venkateswara. It zooms out instead of staying still, to reveal the statue is in a location that looks like a temple(à la Dhandayuthapani Films' last logo). There are now 10 candles and a small black pedestal which contains "SUCHITRA" is below the statue. Then, the camera zooms into the bottom of the statue.

Variants:

  • Dushmun and Dost had the company name and "PRESENTS" in red appear after the camera zooms into the bottom of the statue.
  • On Imaan Dharam, the statue of Venkateshwara is different, there are 4 candles instead of 10 (2 of those looking entirely different from those used in the normal version of the logo), and the logo is on a pedestal with the text "SUCHITRA".

Technique: Live-action.

Audio: Same as the previous logo.

Audio Variant: On Imaan Dharam the choir singing is followed by a short orchestral tune.

Availability: Seen on Dushmun, Dost, Imaan Dharam, Majboor, and Jawaab.
