Background

Sony Interactive Sports was the branding used by Sony Interactive Studios America to develop sports titles for the PlayStation. The line was dropped in 1996, only to be succeeded by the 989 Sports line in 1998.

Logo (December 1995-May 1996)

Visuals: Over a black background is the text "sports" in a futuristic-like font. On the top left is the text "Sony Interactive" in a Futura-like font.

Technique: None. [possible misuse]

Audio: None.

Availability: Seen on the PlayStation games of NHL FaceOff and NFL GameDay.
