Background

Sony Ericsson was the joint venture between Japanese electronics company Sony and Swedish telecommunications company Ericsson. The company was founded in October 1, 2001 with their headquarters based in London, England. On April 1, 2012, Sony acquired the entirety of Ericsson's shares with the mobile department becoming entirely owned by Sony.

(2007?-2011)

Logo: On a black background, a red aurora emerges from the bottom as a streak passes by. The streak then returns as a water current, while the aurora turns into blue and purple. The water current forms a circle near the center which forms an orb, turning into the Sony Ericsson logo, a white/green orb with the green area being divided into two parts. The light vanishes, the logo turns plain and the text "Sony Ericsson" fades in below the logo.

Technique: CGI animation.

Music/Sounds: A piano note leading to a held synth pad, and a 4-note plucked theme.

Availability: Seen on most Sony Ericsson phones from the late 2000s up to 2011.
