Background

SME Records is a subsidiary of Sony Music Japan founded in August 7, 1998.

1st Logo (2010s-)

Logo: Same as the Sony Music tag, but the SonyMusic text is replaced with the pixelated text "sme" in blue, with the "RECORDS(TM)" in a square font colored in lighter blue below, with the TM mark filled in a circle.

Technique: 2D animation.

Music/Sounds: Same as the Sony Music tag.

Availability: Seen on commercials by SME artists.
