Background

On December 4, 2019, Viacom and CBS Corporation remerged into ViacomCBS. On February 16, 2022, ViacomCBS was officially renamed to Paramount Global, more commonly known simply as Paramount, using the Paramount trademark since 1912.

ViacomCBS

1st Logo (December 4, 2019-July 14, 2020)

Logo: On a hazy blue-gray background, we see the ViacomCBS logo (with a box of the same color around it) zoom out to fit with the background. We also see two lighter blue-gray triangles zooming out on each side of the screen.

Variant: A variant with a white background also exists. The wordmark has blue and light-blue colors. This is seen on a video titled "Why ViacomCBS" uploaded by CBSNewYork on Vimeo.

Technique: CGI.

Music/Sounds: 2 drum hits and a loud chord (the end theme of the sizzle reel).

Availability: Only seen on a sizzle reel for said company.

2nd Logo (April 29, 2020-2022)

Logo: On a blue background, two texts "VIACOMCBS" appear on the top and bottom of the screen, with each one forming about three duplicates that quickly disappear, and one on the middle of the screen. The text zooms in as three light blue, blue and white bars slide in from the left to reveal a white background, with the text being colored after the transition ("VIACOM" in blue and "CBS" in sky blue).

Variant: There's a variant where the ending is on a blue background and the text in white.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Music/Sounds: The ending theme or none.

Availability: Seen on #DanceTogether with D-Nice, as well as a format sales sizzle reel to Jeopardy! from the ViacomCBS Global Distribution Group website and a corporate introduction video to welcome Chilevisión into the company.

Paramount Global

(February 15, 2022-)

Logo: It's the same as the 2021 Paramount+ logo, except the end result has a darker blue background, and the "+" sign is removed.

Trivia: Like the Paramount Players and Paramount+ logos, this logo may remind some logo fans of the 1975-1986 Paramount Pictures logo, where the background fades to blue after a few seconds and the realistic mountain turns into a stylized version.

Variant: A short version exists.

Technique: Same as the Paramount+ logo, based on the theatrical logo by Devastudios and animated using Terragen by Planetside Studios, made by Loyalkaspar.

Music/Sounds: Same as the Paramount+ logo, based on the 2011 Paramount Pictures fanfare by Michael Giacchino, composed by YooTooCanWoo. The short version is silent, or the closing theme plays over it.

Availability: So far, it's seen on the Paramount social media accounts and on the Paramount website. The short version was first seen in a post on Paramount's Twitter account on February 18, 2022, which can be viewed here, and subsequently appears on a number of other videos on the page.
