Background
Olga TV is Paul O'Grady's British independent television production company founded in 2005. It is named after the founder's pet dog, Olga. The company produced shows like The Paul O'Grady Show for Channel 4, which ended on 18 December 2009, as O'Grady had signed a new deal with ITV.
Logo (March 27, 2006-March 31, 2024)
Visuals: On the black background is a ribbon-like filmstrip that resembles the MGM logo, with a bow tie in place of the mask. Inside the circle, there is Paul O'Grady's pet dog Olga in place of Leo, but with the bluish-gray fur. Underneath the filmstrip is the word "Olgatv", with the "TV" in cadet blue. Olga then stares at the camera, then barks very loud, smiles and then zooms back in place and winks.
Variants:
- A superimposed variant exists.
- A still variant also exists.
Technique: 2D animation.
Audio: A dog's growl and a bark, the closing theme of the programme or none.
Availability: Seen on shows produced by the company such as The Paul O'Grady Show, The 5 O'Clock Show, Paul O'Grady Live, and TFI Friday, among others.
