Background

Olga TV is a British independent television production company set up by the entertainer and talk show host, Paul O'Grady in 2005. Named after O'Grady's pet dog, Olga the company is best known for producing shows such as The Paul O'Grady Show for Channel 4. The Paul O'Grady Show ended on Channel 4 on 18 December 2009, as O'Grady had signed a new deal with ITV.


Logo (2006-)

Visuals: On the black background is a ribbon like-filmstrip that resembles the MGM logo, with a bow tie in place of the mask. Inside the circle, there is Paul O'Grady's pet dog Olga in place of Leo, but with the bluish-gray fur. Underneath the filmstrip is the word "Olgatv", with the "TV" in cadet blue. Olga then stares at the camera, then barks very loud, smiles and then zooms back into the circle and winks at the viewers.

Variant: The superimposed variant exists.

Technique: 2D animation.

Audio: A dog's growl and a bark over the closing audio of the program.

Availability: Seen on shows produced by the company such as The Paul O'Grady Show, The 5 O'Clock Show, Paul O'Grady Live, TFI Friday, among others.
