Magyar Telekom

Background

Magyar Telekom Nyrt (officially known as Magyar Telekom Távközlési Nyilvánosan Működő Részvénytársaság) is a telecommunications service provider in Hungary. It operates as a subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom. Previously known as Matáv (Magyar Távközlési Rt. – Hungarian Telecommunications PLC), the company was established in December 1989 when Magyar Posta (Hungarian Post) was divided into three separate entities. It became a public limited company, Magyar Távközlési Rt., on December 31, 1991. Privatization became possible on July 1, 1993, following the implementation of the Telecommunications Act. Until the end of 1993, the company remained entirely state-owned. Then, a consortium named MagyarCom, comprising Deutsche Telekom and Ameritech, acquired a 30.1% stake in the company for US$875 million.

1st Logo (2004-2007)

Logo: On a white background, you see the T-Mobile logo with the slogan "Jobb veled a világ".

Variants:

A variant where either the T-Online or T-Kábel logo also exists.
Also, the T-Online variant has a variation where the slogan is replaced by the URL.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Music/Sounds: The Telekom jingle with an announcer that says "Jobb veled a világ" in Hungarian.

Music/Sounds Variants: The T-Online URL variant just has the Telekom jingle.

Availability: Extinct. Seen on most commercials of Magyar Telekom between 2004 and 2007.

2nd Logo (2005)

Logo: On a cloudy background, you see the a hand or cube with the Magyar Telekom divisions before the Magyar Telekom logo appears with the slogan "Összhangban a világgal".

Variant: A variant where the logo appears with the hand also exists.

Technique: 2D computer animation, live-action and CGI.

Music/Sounds: The commercial's theme, followed by the Telekom jingle with an announcer that says "Összhangban a világgal" in Hungarian.

Availability: Extinct. Seen on some Magyar Telekom commercials from 2005.

3rd Logo (2007-2008)

Logo: On a white background, you see the T-Mobile logo with the slogan "Mindig. Veled" in silver and pink text.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Music/Sounds: The Telekom jingle with a Hungarian announcer that says T-Mobile.

Availability: Extinct. This is only used for a year, but it has been seen on 2007 to 2008 Magyar Telekom ads.

4th Logo (2008-2010)

Logo: On a black or magenta background, we zoom out of the T-Mobile or T-Home logo with the slogan "Együtt. Veled" and the URL in gray or black text.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Music/Sounds: The Telekom jingle with a Hungarian announcer that says "T-Mobile, Együtt. Veled" or "T-Home, Együtt. Veled".

Music/Sounds Variants: On the Christmas commercials, we hear a different arrangement of the Telekom jingle with Christmas instruments. also, this version dosen't have an announcer.

Availability: Extinct. Seen on Magyar Telekom commercials between 2008 and 2010.

5th Logo (2010-2013)

Logo: We see a white background fade in with either the T-Mobile, T-Home or Telekom logo in magenta, then we see the slogan "Együtt. Veled" and the URL.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Music/Sounds: Same as the 4th logo, but the Telekom variant simply says "Együtt. Veled".

Music/Sounds Variants: Same as the 4th logo, but with the announcer.

Availability: Extinct. Like the previous logos it's not used in any commercials anymore, but at this point Magyar Telekom already had a YouTube channel with ads containing this logo. Seen on Magyar Telekom commercials between 2010 and 2013.
