Background

Madhouse Inc. (stylized as MADHOUSE) is a Japanese animation studio founded in 1972 by ex–Mushi Pro animators, including Masao Maruyama, Osamu Dezaki, Rintaro and Yoshiaki Kawajiri.

(2000s- )

Logo: On a white background, we see the word "MAD" emerging in reverse order on a liquid pearl background. The camera pans to the center and zooms faster. The letters of "HOUSE" in a Bold Eurostile font appear and shine. A ripple effect appears and turns the background red making the zooming out stop.

Variant: A short version exists where the logo is already formed.

FX/SFX: CGI animation.

Music/Sounds: A saxophone that plays a descending melody repeated twice, and then an ascending three-note repeated seven times.

Availability: Current.
