Background

King World Direct is a home video division of King World Productions. It was originally founded as King World Home Video, but no known onscreen logo was used until the name change.

(1996-1999)

Nicknames: "Stars and Stripes II", "Silver Stars and Stripes", "The Spotlights", "King World Spotlights"

Logo: Same as the 1990 King World logo, but under the logo, the white text "DIRECT" appears.

FX/SFX: Same as the 1990 King World logo.

Music/Sounds: Same as the 1990 King World logo.

Availability: Rare. Appeared on King World tapes distributed under this banner, such as video releases of Wild America.

Legacy: The "Direct" word is cheaply tacked in and you can still see it when the logo is fading.
