Background

On August 11, 2020, War Drum Studios was renamed to Grove Street Games. The current company name was named after the neighborhood in Gainesville, Florida, in which the company is located. On November 11, 2021, the company released Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy: The Definitive Edition, a "remastered" Unreal Engine port of the well-known GTA trilogy series (III, Vice City and San Andreas) bundled with bugs and glitches, which received severe criticism from many gamers and Grand Theft Auto fans.
