I found Carlton's Peak Practice ident from 1996, on Rewind (The TV Room)'s Twitter. |

A random search on Vimeo lead me to this. |

Said Vimeo link is now gone? LogoFun, what did it sound like? |

An unused Marvel logo by Prologue! https://vimeo.com/216273317 |

It's not gone, it's just borked, methinketh, the way Miraheze's widgets display it. Anyway, here's a working copy of the link. https://vimeo.com/266023105 |

(Wow, I prefer some of those music tracks over what we got) In addition to the unused Marvel logo, I found on Prologue's Vimeo this unused (if very simplistic) Kojima Productions logo. https://vimeo.com/190801112 And this AMAZING DC one that I wish was used, as it's probably the best logo the company has ever had. https://vimeo.com/165972350 |

Here are the aforementioned unused logos I found on Prologue's Vimeo. Sorry, pesky watermark.

Thanks LogoFun! That still leaves Kojima with a watermark at the moment though. |

Two brand new discoveries of some more well-known companies have popped up! Feel free to feature these photos. Videos will be under said photos. ;) |

FINALLY! I found a rare variant of the 1953 Fox logo with the 1997 fanfare, unfortunately I can't upload it to Vidlii. I uploaded it to Vimeo instead. |

Earlier this month, Central's trees ident has been found by MrHammadmossop1988 Ul-Haq and Daniel Mullins.

Hello there again! Remember the Warner Bros. Pictures 75 Years discovery with the copyright stamp from the 16mm film? Well, FT Depot posted something in the morning. Thought you guys may like hearing this. (Also, feel free to feature the photo!) This now confirms 3 cases of a copyright stamp appearing in the 1998 logo. |

I'm sorry, this is super embarrassing, but I can't make my own forum page regarding a recent Lost Media Wiki article about a serious logo mystery I never knew of until today (the unidentified music Malibu Video stole). I try to make it but it says that my page title ("Fascinating Logo Mystery Courtesy of Lost Media Wiki" and other variants of that) "cannot exist as a WikiPage" in red text. What do I do? |

You're not alone. I'm having the exact same problem. It appears to be a bug Miraheze is experiencing at the moment. |

Well, I found that Viva Sports ident from 2004. And yes, it is from that "Manny Pacquiao Story" thing, and like the truth of any myth, it is pretty underwhelming (the ident, not the movie). |

So yeah, I was looking around Vimeo to see what rare Sony stuff I could find when I found this: Look, I know you might be thinking that I'm doing all this because I'm desperate to be brought back to the Discord server, but believe me, these aren't my intentions at all. I'm very interested in rare logo stuff, that's all. Now, if you want to watch the original video this logo came from, here it is: |

I can't see the video, sadly... It says that it couldn't find it, almost like it was immediately deleted after you found it. |

It's because they put out the wrong link. Here you go. I got the source for you guys. |

We need to create a page. |

Thanks, VPJ! I'm not really used to the code for Vimeo links yet. |

Hi again. Today might be the day the THX Cimarron trailer with the original sound mix is discovered. Someone posted this video to the Discord server. Take a look. (And take this with a grain of salt) The trailer begins at 0:31. EmbedVideo is missing a required parameter. |

|
Can you tell the uploader of the video to digitize the film? Or might be there other digital versions of the original Cimarron fanfare? |
| Report post
|
Nonetheless, the video has been uploaded to THX's page. |

It looks legitimate to me. |

Could it be one of the wiki's biggest finds yet? |

Indeed, the THX Cimarron page on the Lost Media Wiki is now labeled "Found", and I can't believe it. A major logo mystery solved. |

Major discoveries happen every few months/years. Giving a few examples of what I mean, 2 years ago I found the WHV 1985 "prototype", which it ultimately never was. Another example is the Viacom 1985-1986 city logo, which has had three discoveries over the course of 2019-2022. One in Christmas 2019 from a sizzle reel, and the latter two being in mid 2022, seperated by a few months. After those, a few months later, the original score for the Cimarron logo gets found. I predict in the future that even more rare logos will be found over time, with more and more logo hunters getting better and emerging from the shadows. Only time will tell. |

So, good for whoever "devotes" itself to these videos of less than 30 seconds... |

I just received a Betamax tape of The Miracle of Lake Placid that has a seemingly unique ABC Video Enterprises logo at the end, resembling the "ABC Circle in a V" print logo that was on the cover. |

That's just the 1966-75 NBC Snake ID in film. |

I'll capture it if I can find an opportunity. I'm not promising top quality, however, given the playback quality of my Beta tapes has proven hit-and-miss, with some tapes having a lot of snow in the video and others being outright difficult to just play through from start to finish without fluctuations in speed and sudden stops. This one, on the other hand, looks like one of my better Betas, with the snow being generally restricted to the bottom of the video from what I have seen personally. |

I've found a Unused variant of Network Nine's 10th logo. It's inside this techdemo commentary by PDI, which did the NBC Movie logos from 1987. |
