Forum:So what is now in effect?

I'm confused as to what proposals are now in effect. I'm at least pretty sure that commercial logos, no print logos, and splitting unused are now a thing. |

Right now, it seems that the Editor's Notes are being changed to Legacy. |

Above are all the proposals that have been marked as "Pass" in the proposal page. |

Would hope some of these guidelines are more fleshed out before being fully implemented. A 5 nickname limit doesn't really solve the problem much, seemed to be more consensus to have less or only official ones. And I hope the "Legacy" section is used more selectively and the low-quality/pov/review/blank Editor's Notes are not fully retained. |

I don't know how when all the pages were changed, including the Editor's Note parts was replaced by the legacy ones. |

Thought the one of the points of changing Editor's Note to Legacy was to get rid of the blank "Editor's Note: None" sections. Yet some editors are fully removing them, but others are just swapping "Editor's Note: None" with "Legacy: None". Which looks silly. Think this needs to be hammered out before it goes totally wide scale. |

I don't mind the Legacy thing, but what if, one logo or ID doesn't have a legacy? and who can contribute to these legacies? |

and how can we limit the nicknames down to 5? |

I don't even know where the 5 comes from. Original proposal said 3, there was consensus for this, some said it should be less, some said only official nicknames. This doesn't solve anything. Honestly, there should be a proposal that only official/well-known nicknames be included. Can be done in a trivia or legacy section. 99+% percent of existing nicknames are just made up within the site. |
