ITV is going to shut CITV because of ITVX. RIP CITV. You will be missed. |

TBH I'm not British so I don't have any proper thoughts. |

Still. CITV was a part of my childhood, so it affects me more. |

You're fcking joking (pardon my language). no seriously. Tell me this is a hoax. This is the Disney+ situation all over again.. |

I will certainly miss CITV, but it looks like the offering on ITVX (which is, at least, free with ads) should be much better than what is available on a terrestrial channel that does not operate 24 hours. That being said, I hope that CITV does another "old school" weekend or binge of some sort where all the classic programmes are shown before the channel shuts down for good. |

OK let me get this out here: If you're going to push forward your own streaming service to audiences, DON'T!! DELETE!! YOUR CABLE CHANNELS!!! ITS THAT SIMPLE |

apologies for the rage, but in what way did ITV think that this was a good idea? Cable TV is basically extinct at this point in certain parts of the world. |

First Disney Channel, Now CITV. At least Teletoon's getting shut down for a different reason. |

I will never understand why this is now the strategy for TV companies to market their streaming services though. If you're gonna market it well at least devise something convincing instead of deleting your own channels! |

Since I live in England, I get CITV. So, when the day comes, I'm gonna watch CITV end. Will you? |

It depends where I'll be... but I'm gonna be there to witness it, yes, no matter what |

That's why Cable TV is slowly dying. |
